Pink Bottom is a series of work that combines the idealized image of human search and longing for a perfect place, which we mostly call paradise , and the absurdity of this place called paradise. Pink Bottom is therefore clearly insperated on Albert Camus work and thoughts regarding Absurdity, which is visble in the totaly sensless actions of the painted figures. But the absurdity and longing for a paradise can also be found in the "girlish" pink landscape serounding the figures, which leads us back to the nostalgic "Barby dolhousedays" and other idealized childish longings of a time when everything used to be perfect.
