Light Illusions

Most of the light works are different ways of searching for perfection, an element that art in itself seems to require. The forthcoming question that arises is, 'what is perfection' and how does one capture and define it? A question that for the larger part will remain unsolved.
Nevertheless these works are an attempt to construct perfectness, to construct art. This attempt is mostly visible in the composition created by the overlapping layers of tracing paper, which creates an endless puzzle of posibilities.
The small light works support the idea of perfectness which can mostly be translated in a paradisely image, an image of heaven. They literally confront the viewer with a post mortem experience, an experience of going into the light and entering an other world.
